Web/mobile application for social influencers and content creators enabling simultaneous content management on different social networking platforms
Problem:
Most people have accounts on different social networks. They often wish to share status updates, news, and various types of media (photos, videos, music, etc.) on different social networks simultaneously. That requires individual privacy settings for each account, redundant entries and inevitable waste of time.
Solution:
Our team developed a series of microservices for social networking mobile apps that unify their API clients. Users of those microservices are provided with a centralized system for easy control of their privacy settings and sharing posts on most social networks such as: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Spotify, Deezer, and others.
The main challenge our team faced was how to adapt to each social networking platform while allowing easy scaling of the application with the flexibility of further development. The solution was ultimately achieved through microservice architecture.
In practical terms, once a user writes a post, a selection panel is displayed with a list of social networks. With just a few clicks, a user can quickly select all the networks where the post needs to be published. Furthermore, the MVP includes features for quick and easy management of direct messages, comments, and reactions to posts.
