  • Developed a Separate Service: We built a new service containing comprehensive geographic data for US states, cities, and zip codes. This service replicated the functionality of the Google Maps API and included additional features not provided by Google Maps.
  • API Integration: To ensure a seamless transition, we designed the new geolocation service with the same API structure as the Google Maps API. This allowed for easy integration while retaining the Google Maps API as a fallback option to ensure data retrieval reliability.
